Journal
A picture perfect day on the farm. Puffy little white clouds in the sky. After
finishing the historical tour with the American Cruise Line passengers, Emma
picked me up and we did a few quick chores and then headed down to Belfast for
lunch and co-op shopping.
We grabbed a light lunch at the Laoation restaurant down by the water. The sun
was brilliant and Nabby tried some really spicy food and seemed to be willing to
eat it.
We mostly went to pick up bread and all purpose flour in bulk, as well as
safflower oil. Mom and Sarah are in PA for a checkup visit, so we weren't able
to see them. But the kids are all at Wendi Lou's so all we had was Nabby

Emma dropped me off in town for my selectboard meeting after we did a few chores
around the farm. The selectboard meeting was fairly low key, with a large crowd
gathered for what turned out to be some confusion from the newspaper article
about our last meeting. Turns out people thought we were suggesting no-parking
rules on the south side of Perkins street. But Peter had asked that the north
side be no-parking.
With that sorted, everything worked out pretty well.
