Journal
Today started out sort of rough, as Emma went out to do animal chores and left
me with all the kids in the house and breakfast in the oven. When Nabby got
difficult to manage I took her downstairs and she fell asleep on me. I forgot
about the oven and Emma came in upset about that.
Thankfully we managed to have a relatively civil conversation about it before I
left to take the plucker back to Hackmatack Farm.
We also had a really great time at the Blodgett's this evening. Anne texted Emma
that they were going to do a drinks party. So we ate a quick dinner and headed
over a little late, only to find that most folks had either already left or were
just leaving. We then proceeded to stay until 10 p.m., which was late even for us.
