Emma was a bit of a mess this morning. We woke up in Portland, sleeping in after
a long night at the wedding yesterday. There was a brunch from 9 to 11 and Emma
felt that she was being snubbed by her sister regarding when we were going to
arrive a brunch.
To her credit, the morning went more or less as suspected. Her mom and dad were
there right at 9 and left by 10 and Hannah and her friends rolled in at 10:30 or
closer to 11 and had to be sort of corralled at 11:15 to get on the road.
All in all, it was a wonderful wedding. I was struck by how thoughtfully
arranged the day was, and despite the general upper-class-ness of Annelise's
family, she's so very down to Earth and her wedding was really beautiful.
