Was able to add some really nice unittests for a function that had zero
coverage before, so that felt nice. Unfortunately I still don’t know why the
import isn’t working (see task below)

Jeremiah Savage [[notmuch:id:1589478443.07572933@apps.rackspace.com][emailed me]] that the supervisorctl command they use to reset
Django when updating the website on Fridays was not working. What I found was
a missing supervisorctld.conf file in the correct place. I think I ended up
upgrading supervisor when I was working on the other stuff. Thankfully I found
the exiting conf file in /etc/supervisor.d/ directory. So copied that out
there and now the command runs just fine.

Finally figured it out, it was important that the approved address with
BambooHR had the write protocol. I was running with https locally, but the
local domain I was using was only approved for http

reason there are now fields missing:

This was a bear today. Turns out there was a scrubbing function in the
BambooHR module that was getting rid of all user data we didn’t care about.
Well now we do :) … That, however, uncovered a number of issues in the
importing script around error handling or bad data. I’ve got it mostly cleaned
up now, but I need to fix the exceptions so they end up in front of the user.
Well, most of them.
