At least for the User sync issue, Azure was sending us the correct data in two POST methods and then a third PUT method would send just the user's manager wipe out all the other data. So that seems to be the issue.
The mis-syncing groups is less obvious, though with the issue of Users on their end, it seems that group mastering is probably messed up somewhere as well.

I was talking with Emma in the garden this afternoon and noted that this
is the first day since Jessica Rollerson died that I have really cared
about being organized. That's not to say that I didn't WANT to be organized,
but I didn't care enough even though I knew I should.
Grief is a strange feeling, and it shows up in weird ways.

Today was pretty productive at work. I even got some mowing done outside in
between feature work and support calls.

Maura Housely and I had a good time on the customer call with Minitab.
Curtis was appreciative of the time on the call, even though it looks like the
error is pretty much all on their end.
Maura felt bad for pulling me into a call when Andrii jumped on the comment
thread to suggest we needed to stop distracting people with SCIM support
issues. I think it was probably still time well spent and I'm hopeful that
support like that helps people feel good about 15Five and our product.

Had a late night last night and ended up waking up just in time for a call
with Brent Moran to get more familiar with the Mathesar code base. I feel like
I'm a little out of my league from an engineering perspective on Mathesar, but
thankfully Brent has organized the code really well so it shouldn't be too
hard to ramp up.
