Journal

It's another in a string of overcast days. Thankfully I definitely do seem to be

on the other side of being sick. I still have junk in my throat and can feel the

edges of something, but I don't feel muscle sore the way I did over the weekend.

I foolishly went to bed late again last night. I held out hope that the Jets

could mount some sort of comeback. They did not. They never even scored.

Watching the game I was struck by how silly and corrupt the whole sport is. I

wonder what I would miss if I gave football up. I do enjoy keeping up with

things. But maybe I can do that without actually watching the games?
