Last night Peter thought it was a good idea to smoke pot in his room. Ooh boy it was not. He went on a "walk" with Lucas, Gabe and Mack over to Gabe's house last night. As they left I said they're either smoking cigarettes or pot because why else would teenage boys go for a walk, right? Turns out I was totally right.
So we had a talk with him today about the situation and he was surprisingly receptive to our brand of not-angry-but-disappointed-and-concerned parenting. We didn't drop the hammer of god on him, but instead tried to frame it as his decision, but that he should think really hard before making it. We'll see if he decides to do it again. I bet he had a miserable day thinking about this conversation, heh.
